Day 1 was spent in the classrooms and on the playground.  Lesson topic was Salvation.   Scripture Memory Verse:  Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . ."   

. . . Day 2 - Tuesday, 6/16/09 -- Pool Day

The FMBC Summer Explosion group met at the Green Room where the group had their lessons, watched movies, ate popcorn, and enjoyed the swimming pool.  Lesson topic:  Forgiveness.  Scripture memory verse:  1 Johm 1:9:  "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 

. . . Day 3 - Wednesday, 6/17/09

The groups returned to the classrooms!  Lesson topic:  Joy!   Scripture memory verse:  Matthew 15:13:  "But he answered them and said, "Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."


. . . Day 4 - Thursday, 6/18/09 - Pool Day2

Day 4 was the second day at the pool.   Lesson topic:  Victory.  Scripture memory verse:  Romans 8:37:  "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." 

After swimming, the younger group enjoyed a bag lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, cookies, and a drink while watching a movie.  The older group watched a movie while waiting their turn to swim.  After swimming, they received their bag lunch.

. . . Day 5 - Friday, 6/19/09

The group returned to the classrooms for the final day.  Lesson topic:  Eternal Life.  Scripture memory verse:  John 5:24:  "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

The 5 to 8 years old put the finishing touch on their "treasure chests."
